Program outline
The course will be delivered using blended learning, a combination of one-on-one, practical practice, online, workbooks, and assessment. The training is sequenced in a way that allows a logical progression. You will be provided with professionally presented reference material and were required equipment to assist you to develop your knowledge of the subject.

Assessment
The assessment is conducted using a combination of realistic demonstrations with tasks and knowledge tests. The following provides a brief explanation of the assessment methods applied:

Demonstration:
You will demonstrate a range of skills whilst being observed by, or interacting with, the facilitator. The activities will be clearly explained and always relate to duties relevant to the activities learned in the course. These activities allow the assessor to observe you applying your knowledge and skills during practical activity.

Written Reports: You will produce a range of written records based on real testing and inspection using templates provided.

Tasks: You will undertake a range of tasks. Tasks will require the creation of various documents, reports and outcomes typical in the fire industry.

Knowledge Test: You will undertake a written knowledge tests over the course of your study. The test will be completed progressively as subjects are covered. You may research your answers from the course training
materials and notes as well as relevant references.

Completion:
With successful completion students
will be issued a Statement of Attainment for:
CPPFES2020A Conduct routine inspection and testing of fire extinguishers and fire Blanket.
The statement of attainments can be used towards the achievement of CPP20511 Certificate 11 Fire Protection Inspection and Testing.
